Search teams have located a ninth body in the search for Memorial Weekend flood
victims. An adult male body was found Saturday afternoon, June 6 in storm debris near
the Blanco River at Bluffview Drive in Wimberley.
The body will be sent to the medical examiner’s office for autopsy and to be identified.
It’s not yet known if the man is one of the victims on the list of missing.
In all, nine bodies have been recovered in Hays County; eight have been identified.
Three people remain listed as missing.
